Ratings Key
Stability - This rating is in reference to how solid the treadmill feels under foot.
Cushioning - This is an indication of the shock absorption of the treadmill. Since softer is not always better this is an abstract rating based on our personal preference of a balance between having some give and still being stable.
Noise - This rates the overall noise level of the machine.
Warranty - Rates the warranty in comparison to other units in the same class.
Feel - Rates the feel of the unit as you are walking or running. This would indicate if there is any hesitation when you step on the belt.
Reliability - Rates the overall reliability of the treadmill and it's components based on our field experience.
Programs -Rates the programming features such as HRC and their ease of use.
Availability - This rates how competative the market is for that particular brand of treadmill. Some treadmills can only be sold by certain local dealers, this can make getting a good price almost impossible.
Value - This is an indication of quality based on the price of a unit.
Overall - This is an overall rating that is what we would buy for ourselves at each particular price point.
